Model 3 Highland wraps for the 2024+ car

The 2024+ Model 3, known as Highland, uses its own wrap template: Model 3 (2024+), shared by the Standard and Premium, while the Performance has another. The refresh changed both bumpers, so designs made for the original Model 3 put their nose and tail artwork in the wrong place. Download the right template free, or start from an owner's design.

Tesla's official wrap template for the 2024+ Model 3 Standard and Premium, every body panel laid out flat

What changed on the 2024+ Model 3, for a wrap

Highland was the project name for the refreshed Model 3, which arrived in 2024. The parts that matter for a wrap are at the ends: the fog lights are gone from the front bumper, the headlights are slimmer, and the rear bumper and tail lights are new.

The doors and roof barely changed, so an old design looks fine from the side. But a wrap template is a flat map of every panel, and the new bumpers sit in different places on it. That is why the 2024+ car has its own template and a design made for the original Model 3 doesn't line up at the nose and tail.

Which template is yours

Standard and Premium: Model 3 (2024+). Performance: Model 3 (2024+) Performance, which has a different front bumper with vertical vents at its outer corners, a rear diffuser and a carbon-fibre spoiler. The original Model 3, with fog lights low in the front bumper corners, keeps the original Model 3 template.

Designing for the smoother nose

Without fog lights or a lower grille breaking it up, the Highland's nose is one clean surface. That makes it a good place for the start of a stripe or the brightest part of a gradient, and a poor place to hide a seam. Keep text and logos away from the panel edges, where the template splits the bumper from the hood.

For the real car, a single satin colour or a gloss black roof over a lighter body suits the refreshed shape well, and so does a chrome delete on the remaining brightwork.

Free on the screen, the usual Model 3 price in vinyl

A screen wrap costs nothing: send the PNG from the Tesla app (vehicle software 2026.26 and app 4.59.0 or newer) or load it from a Wraps folder on a USB drive. A full professional vinyl wrap on a Model 3 typically runs about $2,500–$4,500, depending on the film and the installer.

Frequently asked

Is the Model 3 Highland the same as the 2024 Model 3?
Yes. Highland was the project name for the refreshed Model 3 that arrived in 2024. For wraps it has its own templates, separate from the original Model 3's.
Which wrap template does the Model 3 Highland use?
Model 3 (2024+) for the Standard and Premium, and Model 3 (2024+) Performance for the Performance. Both are free on Tesla's custom-wraps repository on GitHub and on this site.
Can I use an old Model 3 wrap on a Highland?
Not well. The refresh changed both bumpers, so a design made on the original Model 3 template puts the nose and tail artwork in the wrong place. Remake it on the 2024+ template, or reuse its prompt in the studio with the 2024+ car selected.
Can I preview a wrap on my car before I pay an installer?
Yes — that's exactly what WrapStudio AI is for. Describe any finish, generate it on a template of your exact model, and see a realistic preview in about 30 seconds. It's the cheapest way to test a look before committing to a $3,000–$5,000 wrap.
How do I use the design after I make it?
Export the generated design as a high-resolution image and take it to any professional wrap installer, who prints it on vinyl and applies it. The exported PNG is also compatible with the in-car customization display.
Is WrapStudio AI free?
Designing and previewing starts with a credit pack from $2.99, no subscription needed. One credit generates one wrap, and credits never expire.
